TPB: all y'all that have received rejections, did you all receive offers to the Masters? Curious if that's why not everyone has heard back yet.

got an email from the Department of Economics offering admission and a $12K merit scholarship. the email said I'll be getting an official notice from GSAS soon.

Got a phone call at the same time I received my acceptance email lol. Excited!

Does anyone know if BU has finished sending out waitlists or not? May I ask when is the virtual open day? Thanks!

TPB: Not to flex more, but I received two rejections from BU and two from Georgetown... Who's the bigger loser now?

TPB: I'm unsure whether they are finished sending out waitlists. But the virtual visit day is on April 2.

Boston University (rejected) poster here. Last name starts with K, got the email of rejection/recommendation for MA review earlier today (Saturday 21 March) at 4:09 PM EST.

I haven't heard anything too. My last name starts with J.

My last name starts with A and I haven't heard anything yet. So I dont think there is any alphabetical ordering here. They sent explicit waitlists last year so even assuming implicit waitlists it wrong imo.

To the poster who received master recommendation, do you have a master's degree? My conjecture is that maybe BU first send some master recommendations to undergra applicants and send direct rejections to the applicants with master's degree. Since I've saw a guy waitlisted few days ago... I'm also waiting for BU, almost lose my hope :-(
