Creative Writing Fiction, University Of Oregon Denied off the waitlist via email today. Compared to my other waitlist schools, Oregon was very opaque about the whole process...didn't leave a great impression. I'm happily committing to another offer. Can't believe the cycle is finally over!!!

Computer Science, McGill University TTPB [2 Technical Internships, 1.5 years of work ex. as an SWE and 3x research papers (1x Journal, 2x Conferences) from a Tier-II Indian University. Received an unofficial rejection mail from the Comp. Sci. Graduate Admissions Committee after I enquired about the status of my application.]. Received an official decision today, rejected. Told to check portal and download decision letter. I strongly feel that my application wasn't even reviewed, and they probably offered admits only to their undergrads who wish to pursue MSc in CS. Very disappointing from McGill.

Comparative Literature, New York University Was on a waitlist. No interview, no notification after the first email on 22nd March that I was waitlisted. It's the 16th of April, so keeping calm equals rejection. Expected as my project didn't didn't align perfectly with the program's focus.
