Graduate School Admission Results

I received an email that the decision status is available at their portal 4 days ago but there was nothing. Now their portal has been fixed and it's reject... This is fking hilarious.

Had an interview with an advisor 2/28, they reached out to me unprompted.

I received an email from USC stating that they have never seen an application like mine. Like totally, I understand most people fill out those tacky online portal applications (EW!) but I went the extra mile and printer mine out on pink glitter paper and mailed it to the AdComm. I included a link to my OF which is just videos of me coding omg don't be dirty. I am ready to bring the FUN to the CS party! Being a normy nerd is sooo 2022.

Applied on Dec 15, admitted to the MS in Artificial Intelligence program today. Got an email today saying decision letter is available with link to the portal, letter dated Jan 18. International student, doing my undergrad at a US university. GPA 3.865, TOEFL 118, didn't submit GRE. No previous industry internship but a few undergrad research experiences plus one conference paper, stated in my SoP that I want to pursue research. 2 LoRs from profs who supervised/mentored my research.

Got Acceptance for USC MSCS program, Had 1 research paper, 3 academic LOR and have 3years of professional experience as SDE in top FinTech company

USC is too obsessed with GPA.
