My first acceptance! I feel so ecstatic and blessed

I also called the ISU grad admissions office (not the CSD office) and they told me that I was accepted. The lady explained to me that there is a backup of people still waiting to be notified through the portal, but that its taking the department a while to sort through and update everyone... I would say just be patient and keep your fingers crossed!

Just received the email. I didn't have hope to even be considered but was wait listed for summer 2019. Congrats to those who got accepted :) If anyone got a better offer somewhere else or would rather start grad school in fall 2019, please please notify the school asap :(

To the poster below, I was accepted and probably won’t be accepting my offer (I’m waiting to hear from all my schools). I’m a little eerie on the fact that it’s new but I definitely think the program has some potential. Tuition is cheaper than most programs, the curriculum seems interesting and I think I would have an easier time learning, and the three professors seemed nice and super excited.

I'm not too upset since I go here for undergrad and I got accepted somewhere else.
