They never reached out. I had to annoy them just to get a response. This is the second year in a row. Disappointing.

I was waitlisted long back. Please decline/withdraw if you get better offers.

no GRE, unofficially rejected after email inquiry

I applied to the pure math track, although part of my background involves applied math. However, I received an interview invitation for a potential position in applied math. Feel a bit uneasy about it.

Waitlisted (Feb 4th), invited to open house (Feb 20th), unofficial admission via email (Mar 3rd). The waitlisted entry on Feb 4th was also posted by me. Graduate director said first-round offer holders can also be admitted to the strongest schools. No GRE sub, no GRE general, no research experience. No interview. 5 years guaranteed: Year 1 TA/GA ($40k/10-mos), Years 2-5 TA/GA/Fellowship (can include 1 yr SAS Fellowship at $30.8k+ with no teaching).

I’m currently on the Rutgers waitlist, and it has been my dream program for many years. If you have an offer from a program that is a better fit for you, I would sincerely appreciate it if you could consider declining the Rutgers offer. Thank you very much!!!!

Got accepted on Valentine's Day lol

Inquired by email. I'm on the top of the waitlist. To anyone who has got the offer in the first round: please decline your offer if you are not going to accept it. Thank you.

Emailed to ask for an update and got a rejection as a reply :/

Sent an email asking for an update. Told me that I was rejected and that they only update rejections after April 15th.

I do not have any other offer, and I request you if any of you have multiple offers, please refuse this option as it is my dream to study in Rutgers. Please please, I am top candidate in waiting list. Thank you
