Physics PhD, Purdue University - West Lafayette Out of all my applications, I, personally, felt I was best suited for Purdue WL. I would have thrived there bro. It was my reach college and I really wanted to be there. But now, I am getting this overwhelming sadness. The last couple of months have been some of the hardest months in my life. I feel so so sad. I want to cry so hard but at the same time I'm feeling numb. So tears can't roll down my f******* eyes. Dreams got shattered to 1000 pieces BRUH. This is it guys. It's over for me.

Physics, University of Delaware Hadn't heard anything about my application despite it nearing the April 15 deadline. Emailed and finally got back "If you haven't heard from us, it means that you have not been selected for admission at this point. Limited additional offers may be possible, but not guaranteed." Extremely unprofessional, but unfortunately doesn't seem uncommon. I know these aren't easy decisions for departments to make, but I wish we were treated like human beings throughout this process.

Physics, Western Michi I don`t have any other offer by now. I am waiting for the outcome of my application to Ohio University (waitlisted) since 15 Feb. Can anyone tell me whether PhD physics from WMU is fruitful or not? Is there any alumni of WMU? my experience : Teaching assistant- 2 years and Research assistant- 1.5+ years (condensed Matter Physics)

Physics And Astronomy, University of Notre Dame Why they took 4 fu*king months to simply reject ??? Waste of money, waste of mental energy, waste of time. This admission cycle is going terribly wrong. Don't know what happened to physics department this year, lack of funding or what ????? F*ck you.....
