received an email from the graduate adviser. Set up the appointment for phone interview on 25th.

Your application has been given careful consideration by the committee on Graduate Studies. On the basis of their recommendation, your application has been denied. If you have questions, please write directly to the Committee in your major department. What a kind rejection although it was expected

Application status says "denied" :(

UT-Austin was way too late getting back. It feels like they stole my application fee. The acceptance deadlines have passed at many other universities. I have already interviewed for assistantships at UIUC and accepted an offer, started academic advising, and I pretty much know what my schedule will be in the fall for work and classes.

Recieved email, but the official site still says "in review." I got my undergraduate degree in math.

Received email from graduate coordinator. Official update to UT portal to come. Undergraduate in Humanities and History.

Got an email for phone interview for one hour from POI on January 7, 2016. Interviewed by two professors on Google Voice on Januray 14, 2016. Then contacted the professor again on February 1, 2016 and he said they are waiting for the Dean's decision. So I am still waiting for the results.

Rejection was a simple 'Declined' on the UT Austin website, and a few sentences about not being accepted to the program. I called the PhD coordinator last week for an update and was told two letters had gone out. The website had previously prompted me for financial aid and housing information, but those links are now removed. Rejection number 11.

Got an email from POI, will interview by this week.
