Computer Science Graduate School Admission Results

Finally, a rejection - applied in November, Interviewed in February, rejected today: already chosen where I was gonna go, just needed some closure. As for stats: Published multiple first author papers in various journals - built/published apps - undergrad math - Intern at big software companies. Best of luck to every1 else!

I got a private email from one Professor regarding an interview. We did the interview over Skype on 12/30.

Received a phone call from a professor saying that I got admitted. track: system and networking.

non-CS background. Undergrad in biology outside US. Doing a biology PhD in the US with some CS-related research experience.

For people who got into CMU and have been notified on the website. Can you still log into the applicant reply form?

Same rejection letter as the one I got 2 years ago. Two first author papers in top venues and several other ones. Interviewed with a non-POI prof. The field of ML/CV is definitely too crowded.

Not all offers have been sent out yet

Switched my application from regular CS (28 units) to a specialized CS program (37 units). Guess they want more money.

To all the posts regarding admit/reject, can you guys share the specific program name please? Thanks so much!

To the poster before, this is really strange. I received an email did interview a week ago and was assuming that I was shortlisted for first round of admission. Now, I am confused too. Not everyone received interview invitation though.
