Neuroscience (NGP), Vanderbilt University I also have not heard anything at all. I even emailed them several weeks ago and received no reply. Have already accepted another offer anyway. Not particularly impressed with this program overall for a number of reasons.

Economics, Vanderbilt University "I am writing regarding the status of your application for the Ph.D. program at Vanderbilt University. The admissions committee was very impressed by your credentials and expects that you will have opportunities at programs that are ranked significantly higher. Since we are, unfortunately, constrained by the number of first-round offers we can make, we have to focus our offers on candidates whom we expect to be more likely to accept it. This said, if your options turn out to be worse than we think and you are still seriously interested in our PhD program by the end of March, please let me know, and I will do my best to get you an offer at that time (of course, this is subject to availability and Graduate School approval, but I am relatively optimistic that we will be able to do something)."
