I am graduating with an MA in English with a 4.0 this semester. Undergrad GPA is from a BA in English. Was notified I was forwarded as recommended for acceptance to the graduate school and to send in my official transcripts over email. Submitted before the scholarship priority deadline.

Already accepted a different offer...but it feels good to have options.

Phone interview was on 2/7/14. Was told decisions would be made within the next 3-4 weeks.

I have been waiting so long for this good news! Was waitlisted last year. They are definitely sending out notifications in batches, so watch your email. Good luck to all!

Has anyone heard back yet? It said on the website that decisions were going to be sent out this week.

Already accepted admissions into a different dual degree program elsewhere, so I will be turning this offer down

"SLIS received more applications for admission than can be accommodated. Your application has received a favorable review, but is not in the set of applications receiving offers of admission at this time."

Wrote to ask application status, told that formal letters were mailed out earlier this week.

Sad, Sad, Sad ...This is very very unexpected - I obtained my two Master''s Degrees at UW Madison. And... it is too soon for the school made such a decision on my application. The deadline of application is 01/15/2010 and I got a rejection letter just in two days.

It's a start...
