Was told that admissions was more competitive this year due to funding constraints. Professors rank students then submit those rankings to a board. Board approves students and sends list to University. Professors are unsure whether or not they will even be allowed to recieve students. University extends offer. Was told I would know final decisions by end of January. Professors had to submit their preferences to the board by 1/7/26.
