Domestic. Emailed for updated and I’m waitlisted

Domestic student. I was accepted into the MI a few weeks ago, was just notified for MMSt today. No update in the application management portal. The email read "We are writing to let you know that you have currently been placed on a waitlist. What does this mean / frequently asked questions: We are unable to share where you are on the waitlist. There is no set number of rounds for additional offers. Applicants on the waitlist will be notified of an updated decision after the first-round response deadline (April 15), after we see how many spaces are still available in the program. The next round of offers will likely be closer to the end of April. Admission is determined by the quantity and quality of applications received each year. With the increase in applications received, this year was exceptionally competitive. Admission decisions were very difficult, as there were many highly qualified candidates and a limited number of spaces in the program."

Got an email from admissions! The email started with "Thank you for your interest in..." so I really thought it was a rejection. I can't believe it, I'm so happy!!!! Official letters are coming early-March, letting people know by email for now!!

I have been asked to indicate whether I accept the offer within 4 weeks. Still waiting for the results of other applications.

Canadian student. Received an automated email to check the SGS website. There was a link to a decision document. No information about scholarship. 4 weeks to make a decision.

Received my unofficial acceptance via email on June 13th after a status inquiry, received my formal offer on June 20th.

Received "official" email today, saying congrats and to expect a mailed offer this week. There was no mention of scholarships/grants, should I assume that means no funding, or do they usually include that with the mail offer only? :/ :/

Canadian non-standard applicant, coming from a BFA and several years out of school. Emailed to inquire about my status and received approval. Waiting for the official mailed offer, and hopefully some funding assistance.
