Domestic applicant. Confirmed research supervisor and applied in early February. No further communications from the school or department until an email request for information was sent to the department. Email notification to check the portal. Rejection letter was dated same day and uploaded 30 mins after final email was sent.

Canadian applicant. Undergrad in environmental science at UofT. Relatively late offer of admission compared to preceding years, I e-mailed the department regarding an update on my application status and they promptly offered the following morning. This was for the conservation and biodiversity stream at UTSC of course. I had one weak reference, one decent reference, and one strong reference, all academic.

Just got my acceptance this afternoon to the MEnvSc program! They didn't specify which stream in the email, but they said I'll get the official offer package soon which will hopefully say. I applied for Conservation & Biodiversity stream. Good luck to everyone else who applied - hopefully you'll hear soon!

I was told "Your application is considered completed and will be reviewed in the second round of admissions (the deadline is May 15th)". Has anyone else receive a response recently?

Received an email from program coordinator second week of March congratulating me on acceptance and stating that an official offer from SGS would follow in the next month (COVID-19 delays). Received official offer March 27th via email from SGS for the ConBio internship option.

Admissions delayed until mid-April (mid-May for second round) because of COVID-19 shutdowns.

Anyone hear back from the department?

Received email with rejection letter attached, expected it

They e-mailed me yesterday telling me that if I mail them my official transcript they will send me an official offer.

Got accepted yesterday afternoon with an Environmental Science Scholarship of $7000!

Canadian. Accepted with $7000 scholarship and possible TAship

Canadian student from a science undergrad. Got accepted today with possible t.a ship. Not 100% if I`m going, really debating a more conventional M.Sc.
