I am very uncertain about taking this opportunity. I believe a 1-year master’s might be too accelerated for me, maybe not in an academic sense, but definitively in a lifestyle sense. I believe it might be too fast-paced and stressful for me. I would appreciate any and all advice I could receive.

Did anyone apply to the CDT NLP track? If so, do people get interviews? what are my expectations here?

We regret we are unable to offer you a place on this programme. While your research interests, as outlined in your research proposal, match an area we have expertise in, no supervisor is currently available to supervise you.

This is the same result as the below one, just wanted to add a comment: my application status was "on hold" for a long time. I sent an e-mail around three weeks ago to ask why my application is still on hold. I did not receive any answer but received the offer today. In short: your application being on hold is OK, I guess?

When I'd put in an email asking what "on hold" meant in my application status, I was told that "Your status is actually "hold gathered fields" this status is used when an applicant has completed all stages of the process and we are just waiting for the final decision to be made. These programmes are very competitive so we need to wait until we receive all applications up until the 31st January application deadline. We are hopeful that decisions will then be made by early March." Hope this helps.

Did anyone receive result for the Informatics Global PhD Scholarship? Since today is the final notification day, I suppose all successful applicants for the first round would be notified.
