Standard rejection letter. A lot of applicants, only a few chosen met qualifications/fit.

Not wait. TYPB: yes, unfortunately that is the way it works and the admissions office will not offer much beyond official speak. I've been through it 4 tines now. Those not accepted find out way later than they should with poorly written letters and little to no advice on how to improve application. Sorry to admin for these but I think it is important.

TTBB- That makes sense. I guess it's just a waiting game. That's an interesting way to do things....give interviews and acceptances way before final decisions are made and to make people who may have not been accepted wait all of that time just to say they didn't get in. This is all an interesting process if that's how it works.

I was not wait listed. I contacted UCI and was told that decisions would not be out until the end of March/Early April. So for anyone saying they were already accepted I'm not sure how that works.
