Writing For The Screen And Stage, Northwestern University I think it's ridiculous that Northwestern is taking its own sweet time with the applications. We all submitted by the end of Dec 08. It cannot take them so long to sift through so many applications -- it just cannot. Most other programs are replying by April. Northwestern says that you may even here by June. They'll lose out on the best candidates this way!

Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), Northwestern University To the guy below: I inquired o March 25, and here is their response. "Reviews have begun on all applications received. All faculty review application as there needs require. We have no way of knowing who is being reviewed or when. All applications will be reviewed by April 15. The first and best place to check the status of your application is at the graduate school website, under admission, follow the link to application status. Within 24 hours of a decision being made, it will be posted at that site, before we know. If nothing is there, that means your application has not come through review or received a decision yet."
