I applied to a graduate program for Fall 2026 back in early December. Yesterday, I logged into my Admissions MyAccount and noticed the “Graduate Student Checklist” (the post-admission one) had appeared in my portal. However, my application status still shows “Under Program Review.” Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a system glitch, or does it usually mean a decision is coming soon? Just trying to figure out if this is normal or if I should reach out to my department. Thanks for any insight!

They just sent me an email , I do not know why they waited this long just to reject an application. luckily I got an offer already. anyway the GPA is for masters.

I have applied for PhD program, but I have been accepted as a Master of Engineering (MEng) student due to lack of funding.

No funding. Declined. A top student with many years of research experience and journal papers. Strong LORS. Don't apply to this program they will not provide you funding, especially if you are an international student. they basically think that we have money. I have read prior posts on this site and most of 'em do not get funding, which is bad given that the program is PhD

TTPB: to the post below for UCI. Don't feel bad. It looks like all CSU campuses will be virtual till the end of the school. The UC system including UCI will surely follow. As of right now, unless you enjoy online teaching and isolation, California is going to sh*t.
