From stats and computer science double major. Not really keen.Mids is under Social Science Institute unlike other data science masters which are under engineer school or data science institutes. Is more suitable for students with majors in social science, psychology, medical etc. The location of the school is also a major disadvantage. Understood from faculty although there is an internship requriement, it will probably an internship inside the school if you cannot find any.

Accepted by Duke via email, but will decline. Discussed with the faculty during the interview and realize the course framework and resource allocation is really a mess. Maybe because it is a new program. The tuition is also super high. Got better offers from schools at better locations too.
