TTPB: yes, that's what I meant. I was the one who contacted POI asking for an update because we had exchanged some emails in the past. **have been** (for the typo in my previous post)

TTPB: I am also an AIS applicant but I didn't get any email about acceptance or rejection. So you mean that you are not officially rejected but POI told you in advance. Did I understand properly?

Contacted POI and he told me that all AIS track applications haven reviewed and they can not offer me a position. He also said some proposals are still pending so something could change by April 15th but I am still taking it as a rejection.

To the poster below, have you received any notice yet? Or have you had any recent contact with the admissions coordinator?

To the poster below I'm also waiting. let me know if you hear anything. The recruiting manager told me they send out emails around mid October, though. That's about this time so it might not be long.

Applied for direct PhD for AIS, got accepted to M.S. for Civil Engineering with $5,000 per semester. Still happy about it.

The bar is so low that many losers are admitted. Not going there.
