Received an informal letter in early February, and today received the formal one

Standard rejection email.

Indian undergrad at tier 3 college. 6 months work ex, 3 relevant projects, many achievements and accomplishments (including national level) no research exp

Decision letter attached to email as pdf though I got a different email from application portal to take the next step in my application (turned out this was for $500 deposit.) Received at 5:25 PM EST.

I'm the one who got the open house invitation yesterday. Just received email this afternoon with the official acceptance letter. Excited!

Where do we have to search for our admission decision, Can someone give me a link ?

I got into UIC and Boston Uni also had a good chance at SFU until I made an obvious error while applying.

TTPB: Thanks for your reply. I guess I did make some mistakes due to which I could not get admits. I will be improving them now, and applying again this session. Do you mind telling your admitted univ so that I have some reference.

TTPB I have a lower GPA (Marginally)and GRE score and I was able to get admits from BU and another uni for MSCS while doing an undergrad in ECE. There must be something wrong with your SOP or your college selection must have been ambitious.

Hello, I needed a bit of an advice and this is not just for Boston. I applied this year with 166Q, 152V,4.5 AWA, 7.7/10 cgpa from a Tier 2 univ in India. My undergraduation is in ECE and I applied for MS CS. But could not get any admits. I have around 3 internships, some teaching experience and 3 IEEE conference publications. 2 moderate-strong LOR and 1 moderate. Strong SOP. Do you guys suggest that I give GRE again and would it improve my profile significantly? I know this is not a place to discuss these things but I thought it would be best to take advice from people that have already got an admit. Thank you.
