- Interviewed with professor last Wednesday, received invitation to recruitment visit on Friday, received email yesterday saying congratulations on my admission and that I will receive an offer next week. Make sure you email professors you're interested in working with, I emailed some twice before receiving a response and emailed over 60 professors from various schools. The extra effort and initiative is almost mandatory if you really care about getting into somewhere in the current state of funding
