- I had had an interview on Monday, 2.2.26 , and received an informal email of acceptance on Wednesday 4.2.26. Ami, senior undergrad at T15 (if that's even a term ppl use), have apparently very strong writing sample/original research, no publications, some teaching experience, had a couple of okay/good interviews at two other good schools, but tbh their programs put such an emphasis on practically ancient/disconnected from present-day literature and traditional approaches that I am glad things worked out the way they did. The professors at this institution showed such enthusiasm for me and my work that it is without a doubt the right fit; Find you a school that is excited about you as you are it. I think program fit is the most important part, I'm realizing. I haven't gotten rejections / any kind of decision from other places yet, but I have already informally accepted U-Mich and will most definitely be attending there. I found that you have to find the program that really fits your needs and goals, and then things tend to fall into place. I never thought they would. Best of luck to everyone.
