- Veteran with 5 years of Army service, one year federal contracting, one summer study abroad, no GRE, no internships, two years of research with faculty (two separate research projects over two years), spoke at two conferences and other projects with faculty including research methods and applied ethics. Accepted during early notification with $35k in funding for the first year. Very grateful to be accepted to such a great university as a former infantry grunt. Good luck everyone!
