- Was told that I was originally put on the acceptance list in early Feb. After an unexpected one-month wait, they finally told me that the whole Chinese cohort was not able to admit any student because of the federal funding cut. I guess this is the same for the whole Asian studies department, with only a few advisors having their own external funding could possibly admit PhDs.
