- It’s the PhD and the university I dreamed of and worked so hard for my entire life... The university just notified me that they rejected me after a long process. All the effort, dreams, and merits have just gone to waste. I knew opening this email would hurt, but I didn’t expect it to hurt this much. I see my life up until now passing before my eyes, and I feel like none of what I did made any sense. I am devastated. What a heartbreaking experience T.T. How painful it is to think that they could have considered merit and dreams. My congratulations to those who were accepted.
