STEP cluster. received email at 11pm from POI... Formal letter later this week. POIs had been emailing me frequently since my submission and I met with both informally before applying. Strong research fit and relevant research experience at a top climate lab. I highly recommend prospective applicants to reach out to two POIs before applying because they will need to defend your case to the committee. Extremely lucky and grateful
