I'm a student from Chinese university, hoping to become a historian in Afro-Asian internationalism, tracing the links between East Asia and Middle East. After being rejected by all of the 5 PhD programs I applied to, (which completely makes sense because I still lacked experiences in the Middle East,) finally accepted by a top MA program in Middle Eastern Studies. So grateful for this.
