- To the user endlessly whining about unfair treatment and faculty not embracing your clear 'genius': please, for your own sake, grow up. You are far too old to be acting like a child and dilute the experience of others here. Not all of us who make it to the best schools in the world were born with a silver spoon in our mouths. Yes, graduate admissions is unfair. Yes, faculty are biased, like everyone else is, and often wont to admit based on whom they like. You have to be both qualified and smart about how you interact with people, and based on your posts on here alone, it sounds to me like the one who dodged a bullet isn't you, but the programs that have rejected you.
