As someone else stated, the rejection email is completely unprofessional (especially compared to others I've seen). The rejection status appears in the little blurb on the push notification. Imagine accidentally seeing that information while in a professional setting! My one consolation is that this department is deteriorating from the inside out and I dodged that bullet. I didn't even know the full extent until well after the application was rejected.
