- Waitlist notification via email, kind of strange: You are on the waitlist for the PhD Program in Sociology. You should receive a formal email from the admission portal if you have not already. We were impressed with your application! Our practice is to make a funding offer to all students we accept. Thus, we must secure funding lines before we make acceptance offers to all our qualified candidates.
