- To the person asking about updates on NYU: I posted about the interview -- I had my interview about two weeks ago, and I'm still waiting to hear back on a decision. They didn't give me an exact timeline for the decision, just that it would take a couple of weeks. This is my second time applying to NYU American Studies. The first time I didn't get an interview. I don't know if they are doing staggered interviews, but what I do know is that they are notorious for taking a long time to send out rejection letters. The first time, I didn't hear back until April 1, after sending out multiple emails asking for a decision. The only reason I knew I had been rejected back then was because I saw someone post on social media that they had been accepted into the program.
