Just got rejected from the DPhil in Information, Communication and the Social Sciences. A First Honours 96% undergrad, MPhil distinction and best award at Cambridge. 10 international publications, 4 conferences + co-organised my own one at Cambridge too, 2 book proposals, 2 years of research experience, 8.5 IELTS, 15 public articles, 5+ years of teaching experience. Competition is rough. Accepted into full PhD at Cambridge tho + applied for US universities.
