(Ignore waitlist.) Don't know whether the application season is as brutal every year, but it seems this year's been very tough for many of us. I've applied to 23 schools, got waitlisted at 3 mid-ranked ones, accepted to 1 of those 3, and still waiting to hear from CUNY, FSU, and UC Davis. Congratulations to those of you who got their offers, good luck to those of you who are hanging there by a thread still waiting to hear back from a school, and of course wish a better season to all those who will be reapplying in the next year.
