- I emailed a potential supervisor in mid-November and received a response only after my application was received. Supervisor interviewed me in mid-January and mentioned that I would be given an offer. The rolling nature of admissions at TAMU coupled with a slow bureaucracy meant that I received an offer on Howdy today (mid-March), with an official detailed offer to follow this week. I'm going to be a PhD student! GPA is out of 100, and I have one semester of aerospace research experience and 4 work internships (none of which were aerospace but had transferable qualities). Direct from undergrad, mechanical/aerospace major, physics minor.
