Applied on a whim, was planning to drop next year. One conference first author, two upcoming in some of the biggest conferences in ML. Work with notable professors in Psych, Neuroscience and currently advised by a Turing Award winner. Had a Stanford Psych prof to endorse my application, maybe that’s why I got in!
