Apparently they sent my rejection on Feb 14th, but they sent it to an old defunct email address that I didn't include anywhere on my application (?!). This was a gut punch because my advisor works at MIT and is a big name in OR and led me to believe I'd be a sure admit given that he was writing my rec letter. Alas.
