- I regret to inform you that you have not been recommended for admission to the Ph.D. in Education program at Harvard for the 2023-2024 academic year. While official notification will be made available by the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences later this month, we felt that it was important to provide advance communication to current HGSE students as a courtesy. The number and quality of applications this year, for the limited number of spaces available, exceeded our expectations. Consequently, we could not invite many excellent applicants to join us. We appreciate your interest in Harvard's Ph.D. in Education program and hope your spring semester here at HGSE will be both productive and enjoyable for you.
