- Ignore waitlist. Could anyone tell me if UMich send decisions based on some kind of sorting like the submission time, first letter of the last name etc.? Or, the obvious rejects are sent first, and then the "maybe" files are discussed for deciding either rejection or waitlist which are released around mid Feb along with obvious admits?
