- This is the second time that I applied for this program. The first time I did in 2020 I got got waitlisted. After not being offered admissions I decided to pursue an MA degree at UChicago to better my chances and it worked! I have also applied for the Socio-Cultural Anthropology department three times including this year. I was interviewed and haven't heard back yet, but the Anthro-History program is my priority choice. For all those who did not make it, if you truly believe this is what you are meant to do, don't give up!
