- Ignore waitlist. TTPB:- My status also says "Awaiting Decision". I'm not sure what we should say about it. Maybe they are still reviewing applications? I see one/two rejections recently, whereas a wave of acceptances were perhaps alreday sent in mid and late January. But, I do know that ther will be waitlist. Because, in the accepatance email sent by them it was written something like "if NCSU is your first preference go ahead so that we can release the waitlist. If we are not your first choice, it is helpful if you can let us know about your decision asap so that we can make offers to the waitlist". Hope it helps.
