- Was waitlisted March 4th, emailed by the chair of the admissions committee for the soc department. A couple of weeks later was told I was high on the waitlist, to "please not give up hope," and to let her know before I made any decisions on other schools. Really had the perception I was next in line and they didn't want someone else to poach me (this was my top program). She emailed me on April 12th to inform me the final admitted applicant they had been waiting on accepted and they were closed for the admissions season. Really bummed about this - Brandeis was my dream school. Congrats to those lucky 3 who got the available spots.
