- Graduate Application for Autumn 2022 Dear ****: Thank you for your application to the University of Washington Graduate School. This year, the Biology Department received over 250 applications for the PhD program. While there were many qualified applicants, our faculty had the difficult task of selecting a small subset of candidates to move forward in the admissions process. Unfortunately, we are not able to make an offer of admission. While it is disappointing to receive this news, we encourage you to continue to explore graduate opportunities and your excitement for Biology through your next steps. Thank you for the time and effort you invested into applying to the Biology PhD program at the University of Washington. We wish you well on your journey to graduate education. Sincerely,
