Applied for PhD program and interviewed, didn't get in but was offered a (funded!) masters position by my potential advisor because of my lack of super substantial research experience. Will be able to apply to transfer for PhD after 1 year. And yes, that is my gpa! I went to a school with grade deflation and have a pretty stellar CV. Any chats for future Stanford Earth students? Would love to meet y'all!
