- I specifically mentioned in my SoP that I am looking for thesis track and not project track, and guess what, they admitted me to project track. Now, I'll have to get a funding offer separately if I am to move to thesis track. Most likely, I am going to reject - already have an offer from UCSD. On a side note, they mentioned that they received over 1600 applications in the email. Good luck to all.
