- Anyone who didn\'t hear from UMD and still has hope, well, don\'t have much hope. See "Admission Information" page on the UMD Economics website. Sigh. "Thank you for your interest in the University of Maryland. We received many very strong applications, and we have completed our review of all files. We contacted students who have been admitted and wait listed by email on or before March 11. We anticipate offering acceptances and funding to some of our wait listed applicants in early to mid April. We do not have a ranked wait list, so we cannot offer any more information about the probability of acceptance for wait listed applicants at this time. Unfortunately, applicants who were not placed on our wait list are unlikely to be admitted."
