Waitlisted on 1/26 - wasn't feeling very optimistic about getting off the waitlist, but I received a very kind email from the DGS this morning offering admission into the program. Overjoyed; I was rejected from this same program in my first admission cycle and this is definitely my #1. Focused on Black American lit and Black Southern geographies. Best of luck to others on the waitlist!
