- I just wanted to say what a fucking year is this! 19 rejections and 1 acceptance in hep-th. Even all my safe schools rejected me. I haven't applied to Universities like MIT and all but rather chose which I was confident to get into. With three publications in PRL and JHEP, conferences, four projects in hep-th and two ongoing projects in AdS/CFT, being the University topper and taking a break of an year, preparing hard for the PhD admission, I literally screwed up this year in securing an admission that I dreamed of. I didn't understand why the fuck are they not mentioning the number of vacancies in prior. Every fucking school says we have no vacancies and for fucking sake they have no ashamed in begging money from the students. But I don't regret for choosing hep-th and I will show that what I am capable of.
