Program head said at the beginning of my Feb 5th interview that she was very impressed with my admissions essays, but the subsequent interview felt like a bit of a bomb on my part. Being put on the waitlist feels generous, and definitely reflects an afterglow of the original impression I made via writing. (Interview granted via URTA application)
