I got a rejection from the Architecture Ph.D. program; however, I got an acceptance from the DDes program of GSD (March 3rd) with partial tuition funding. My academic achievements are as follows: BS with summa cum laude; MS in the same school; 3 peer-reviewed journal papers (2 first-author, 1 co-author); 2 first-author international conference presentation (and a lot more in co-author); 3 patent applications in my home country; totally 2.5 years' research experience;
