- Interviewed on 2/18. Rejected on 2/21. Received an email indicating a status update on the application portal. About 75 students were interviewed, 16 students accepted. Usually, 18 students are accepted but 2 students had deferred from the prior year. Not sure how many are waitlisted. The interview day was remote. Had 3 30min staff interviews and 3 30min sessions with current students/alum. Staff asked several interview questions about my ability to tough it out through a long/challenging program. Was also asked 1) how I navigate conflict with supervisors/professors, 2) what my research experience is and how prepared I feel for the dissertation process. Can't remember other questions but they were pretty standard. Hope this info helps someone in the future :)
